Little Eric has come to us as an unclaimed stray, he was so very fearful when he first arrived. He very soon realised that life in a foster home was much better than being in a kennel and actually he quite liked the comforts he discovered. Eric is the quirkiest looking little lad, he resembles a bat with his huge ears and funny nose. We think he is utterly charming. He is doing well in foster and has gained in confidence in a really short space of time, he is clean through the night, as he is newly neutered he does still sometimes scent mark. With a little more time this should stop altogether. Eric had not been used to being on lead so his fosters have been working on this with him, it will still need further work when he goes to his new home but again he is doing really well.
Eric just adores being cuddles, and will happily take as much attention as you can give. He is good with the other dogs that he is in foster with, he can be nervous around larger dogs though. He is fine to be left for short periods and shows no signs of anxiety or being destructive. He would like new owners who are around for most of the day, so he gets lots of cuddles. Any resident dogs should be of a similar size. Eric loves the garden and is happy just pottering about making sure all is as it should be, he doesn’t bark he is content just to be able to enjoy the outside.
As we have limited history for Eric any children in the home should be teenagers or over. This lad clearly hasn’t had the best of times but now his future is looking so much brighter. All he needs now is his own family.
Eric has been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and is up to date with flea and worming treatment. He has also had his teeth cleaned and polished. He is currently on foster in SE12 London.
