Eric is a 6 week old brindle male Lurchers. He is a bundles of fun, love playing and love company and very nice looking. He was handed into the pound at a very young age and have had his 1st vaccination already because he left his mum so young and possibly didn’t get her antibodies. He will be ready to be rehomed in 4 weeks time when they are 10 weeks old. He can live with other dogs and are young enough to be trained to live with cats although they are dogs with a high prey drive and we would like children to be over 8 years of age. We would prefer homes where someone is around all or certainly most of the time to ensure that he develop into well behaved and contented adults. Housetraining and basic training will need to be continued and we would like Eric to be taken to training classes for basic training and to ensure he become well socialised adult dog.
A full home-check will be done and one of the main criteria is that the fencing will have to be at least six foot round the garden even if pups are rehomed to a rural location. He has been vet-checked, microchipped, wormed and will be fully vaccinated but not yet neutered because of his age. He must be neutered when old enough, before 12 months old and this forms part of the adoption agreement. Evidence must be sent to us via our/your vet. If rehomed locally, this will be done free at our own vets. Adopters who live further afield are welcome to bring their Moorlands adopted dog back to be spayed.
We also provide four weeks FREE insurance. We do ask that if you wish to adopt a dog and already have one, that you bring it along to see if they get on.
