Esme has come to us as she is no longer required for breeding. She is a larger, long bodied bichon who really is very sweet but very scared at the moment. She would like new owners who are around for most of the day and who have at least one other similar sized resident dog to help show Esme the ropes and to help her settle in and learn to trust. At the moment everything is very new and very scary for Esme it will take some time and patience for her to relax and grow in confidence and learn to trust her new owners.
Esme is still young and enjoys playing with the other dogs so another young playful dog will most certainly help Esme come out of herself. Any children should be older teenagers who are able to understand she may be fearful, and allow her to progress at her own pace without being pushed. No young children as Esme has no knowledge of them and would find noise and movement very scary. Visiting grandchildren would be fine, provided Esme had her own space where she feels safe and secure.
Esme has been neutered, had her first vaccination, is up to date with flea and worming treatment and has had a full scale and polish. She has also been micro chipped. She is currently on foster in Brighton East Sussex.
