Fawn is a beautiful young Galga (Spanish Greyhound), about 10 months old and is only a small girl. She was thrown over a gate at a rescue centre and found with terrible burns all over them. They could not stay at the rescue as they were completely full so our wonderful foster home took them in.
Fawn is a lovely, healthy, lively young girl! She is full of life and adores playing with other dogs. She would love an active home with another dog to play with. Ideally a home with previous sighthound experience or someone who is aware of the breed and understands that they may not be good off lead. Sadly Fawn still has scars on her from being burnt but we think this just makes her more special and beautiful!
Fawn would love a home she can call her own where she can really flourish and and get all the attention she deserves. She would love someone who is around a lot of the time as she is still very young and does not like to be left on her own much at the moment. She is great on the lead however she needs more time out and about to get her used to things like traffic, meeting other dogs as she is not used to it and it is all so new to her so at times can be a little scary. Fawn is house – trained. She is a very clever girl and really eager to please. Very food orientated which is great for training and very receptive to commands. Being so young Fawn has a cheeky side to her too and will try and steal food off the counter if she can and sneak up on the sofa! She is a happy, sweet little girl who will be a wonderful addition to any home and a great playmate for another dog.
Fawn is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. This lovely lady is fostered in County Durham.
