Fergus is a male Collie cross who is approximately 4 years old. He came into our care from the inspectors. Unfortunately we were given very little background information and told that he lived outside. Fergus is very friendly, energetic and appears a happy dog whose tail is always wagging. He has a cheeky face and is a character. He is playful but it is evident that he has not had a great deal of training and doesn’t know many commands.
Poor Fergus probably wasn’t very well cared for previously seeing he lived outside. It is not surprising therefore that he is underweight and his coat is quite dry and not in the best condition. All of this should improve significantly once he is settled in a loving home where he is fed a good healthy diet and has had a few baths.
Fergus is looking for an active home and would suit a more experienced dog owner. He would benefit from having more training. He could possibly live with another neutered female dog and could be rehomed with older children. He has not lived with cats.
