Fern is our older girl English Springer Spaniel with the fused elbow joints. She is in a long term foster home but sadly needs to move due to not getting on with the resident dogs. She really does need to be an only dog. Fern is a 10 year old small springer spaniel who is very affectionate and loves nothing more than a cuddle. Walks lovely though cannot walk far due to issues with her joints/legs. Short walks of no more than 30 mins max.
She does love to play ball but obviously not for long. She seems to cope better walking on grass and soft ground than a hard pavement walk. Settles at night in a crate but will howl and whine when left during the day though she does settle after 10 mins. Is possessive over toys. Great with cats. Not been around children but does mouth when excited so would say no. Travels well and the perfect partner in a cafe.
Fern needs a home with no other dogs and no children, someone who can take her for short walks daily and in return you will have a lovely gentle companion. She is a gorgeous gentle soul. She is on metacam and you move to help with her joints and under her long term foster we will fund this and any other medication for as long as she needs. Fern is not neutered at present on vets advice. Fern is in foster in Norwich and she is available to adopt or long term foster both subject to meet and greet and homecheck.
