Born in October 2013, Figo is a large, Cross-Breed male dog with a medium length coat. Figo was found in April 2016. A gentleman brought him and another puppy to the shelter. Figo has a wonderful temperament, he’s happy, he’s confident and he has a cheeky side that we all adore, he loves a cuddle and a belly rub. He’s a big, soft, cuddly bear and anyone would be lucky to have such a lovely boy.
In October 2016, Figo was lucky enough to be selected to travel to a UK foster home. Since day one he has been a happy, confident and playful boy. He has met both men and women and has enjoyed everyone’s company, not fearful in anyway. He has met my dogs, male and female, small and large and has behaved perfectly. He’s been into town and sat outside a coffee shop, lots of people walking past and all he wanted was to be fussed. He’s enjoying his walks and is currently being walked on a short lead to keep his lead training up as well as a long line so he can start to learn recall.
Figo is now looking for his forever home, he would like to live with another friendly dog as he really does enjoy dog company, if you have children we ask that they are over the age of 10, have an understanding of how to act around and to treat animals with respect. Someone that can walk Figo twice a day and someone that is happy to continue his training including his recall.
Figo has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and comes with his own pet passport. Figo doesn’t want to be left alone all day however he doesn’t mind having a good old sleep if you’re out for 3-4 hours, as long as the day is broken up he’s happy. He hasn’t shown any signs what so ever of any kind of anxiety, he’s a happy and content dog.
Could you offer Figo a loving forever home? Could he be a part of your family? Figo is one very special boy who deserves the best. If you can offer this sweet boy a loving home, or if you have any more questions, please email our UK Adoption Team.
