Fiona – 3 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross

Please meet Fabulous Fiona! Fiona is an approximately 3 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross who came to us a neglect case. She has been used as a breeding machine and starved. She was in a terrible condition on arrival and she is now fully recovered and ready to find her forever family. Fiona is a lively girl who needs some training on the lead etc but is very receptive to learning new things and is a very clever girl! She will chase a ball but hasn’t worked out the art of picking it up and bringing it back.

Because Fiona has been used for breeding she is now uncomfortable around other dogs and will need an owner experienced in a dog who can’t mix with others. And no cats! Fiona can be a little wary of new people initially but once she realises nothing bad will happen then she is an extremely affectionate and bouncy girl who never fails to make you smile with silliness.

Fiona is clean in her kennel and a good patient at the vets. Because of her enthusiasm for life, Fiona will need a home with older, teenage children as she would probably inadvertently knock over a small child trying to kiss them!

Fiona has been through so much and desperately wants and deserves a home of her own so she can continue to learn what love is rather than just being a commodity to earn money by breeding pups in her former home. Fiona has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
