Flora - 1 year old female Boxer Cross

Flora (ref 98d) is a 1 year old, very friendly brindle-coated female Boxer cross.  She was brought to Derby RSPCA Centre by an RSPCA Inspector after she was neglected and left all alone by her last owner. She likes human company, adores being stroked and fussed and even loves being groomed because she sees it as an intensive fussing-and-stroking session.

She is a sparky, lively and intelligent dog who already knows at least 5 commands. At only 1 year old she could undoubtedly learn even more and would probably enjoy more training as well as benefiting from it.

Flora would be suitable for a household where any children were aged 5+ and kind to animals.  Flora doesn’t yet know how to play with toys or with people because her last owner couldn’t be bothered to play with her, so her new owners will have to introduce her to the idea very gently, but she is a bright and jolly dog who should pick the idea up quickly.

She appears to get along alright with other dogs, but would be certain to chase after cats, rabbits and other small furry creatures.

Just a like a Boxer, Flora is a lively dog who will need plenty of fresh air and exercise to keep her happy and healthy.  She will repay you with masses of love and affection.  She really does have very lovely temperament indeed.

Can you offer unwanted Flora the home-for-life she so badly needs, plus all the care, understanding, love, fun and walks she so richly deserves?
