Flora is a chubby little Corgi cross of around 8 to 10 years old. Flora is fostered in Gt Yarmouth (FR001). Flora is a dear little character with a cheeky personality. She’s a little uncomfortable at the moment with the extra weight she is carrying so adopters must commit to monitoring her food intake and ensuring she gets regular exercise. It’s common for dogs that have been in a shelter for a while to get heavy because there is literally nothing else for them to do but eat and sleep.
Flora is a friendly little dog with a sunny disposition. She would be okay in a home with older children of twelve plus but would ideally find herself a retired person or couple as she would enjoy a quiet life. Flora gets on well with other dogs though has not yet shed the shelter mentality where food is concerned and needs to be fed separately.
I imagine that Flora had a home once and then was abandoned. She is clean in the home and doesn’t appear to be a stranger to sofas! I can bet that she spent her time at the shelter dreaming of all she had lost and i know that finding a home of her own will make all her wishes come true.
