Hello, my name is Flower. I’m a seven year old female Yorkshire Terrier. I arrived at The Mayhew after being found abandoned on the streets of London. I’m an affectionate and sensitive little girl. I build strong bonds with people that I know and trust and I love nothing more than climbing up onto your lap for a cuddle. I have luxating patellas but they don’t bother me in the slightest and I still enjoy going running around and enjoying myself in the park.
I’m now looking for a forever home with a person or family who have owned dogs before and have researched my breed type. I can live with sensible children from sixteen years of age and upwards but I’d prefer to be the only pet in the home. I’m looking for a home where there is somebody around for most of the day and will provide me with an hours off lead walk in the park everyday. You’ll need to be fully prepared for the hard work and long term commitment involved in owning a dog, you’ll be taking on an eight year commitment which must not be taken lightly.
Hope to see you soon
