Fotis – 4 month old male Terrier cross

Fotis is a 4 month old male mixed breed possibly Terrier Cross. Fotis was picked up wandering the streets of Cyprus and is currently in a foster home in Cyprus. He was so young to have been abandoned and he would not have lived long had he not been found. He was passed into the care of D.O.G Rescue Cyprus and then had a little more luck as instead of being stuck in our kennels an amazing foster mum stepped forward to take him until his forever home could be found.

His foster mum thinks that he may be a small to medium size once fully grown. Being in foster is enabling him to learn manners and house training. It has also given him a good start in life and allowed his vaccinations to take effect so like any young puppy in the UK, he is protected against the common diseases that can kill vulnerable dogs, such as parvovirus and distemper. Fotis is a super cute, inquisitive puppy. His antics are delightful to watch and he just loves to play then crash out and sleep. Fotis is excellent with all people including children as well as other dogs. He is very playful and a real charmer! Fotis, like any other puppy, will require support, guidance and training to help him develop into the adult dog you want him to be.

We are hoping to find a home for him before he needs to leave his foster home in Cyprus, so that he doesn’t have to experience the kennels at such a young age. The kennels are never safe for young puppies and we want him to have the opportunity of finding a safe, loving home of his own.
We hope to find a family who will open their heart and home to him and allow him to continue to build his confidence and grow into the wonderful family pet he has the potential to be. He would do well with another dog in the household to help him learn the ropes and help his confidence or as an only dog providing you can devote time to support him. Also as with any puppy we would always recommend he should be supervised if with children.

Fotis is old enough now to fly to the UK if we can just find him his forever home. He has been vaccinated. Prior to his flight to the UK he will receive the vet preparation required, be microchipped and have his entry passport prepared.

The adoption donation required to help cover the flight and related costs to get him to you in the UK will be a donation in the region of £400 to £425 depending on where you are in the country and the exchange rates.

Please contact us if you are interested in Fotis and we will be very happy to chat to you about our adoption process. It is much easier than you might think!
