Maya is a pretty small/medium sized Cross-Breed weighing approximately 14 kg and standing about 19 inches high. She is about the size of a English Cocker Spaniel. She was rescued as a puppy in Romania and was adopted in Malta. Sadly her adopter moved last year and couldn’t take her with them so Maya came back to the UK. She is now living in a foster home in North Norfolk with four other dogs.
Maya has a lot of energy and loves to race around the garden with the other dogs. She gets excited about her walks but travels well in the car. She is an alert and intelligent dog and made some nice progress when she attended some basic obedience training classes. She runs very fast and so would probably make a good agility dog or a running dog. Maya is fostered in North Walsham (FR050).
Maya is a little nervous of new people and situations and needs a little time to adapt. But once she gets to know you she loves attention and is an affectionate and cuddly girl. She could live in a household with older children (over 10). Maya enjoys playing with the dogs that she currently lives with. She could live in a home as an only dog but would enjoy regular play dates with other doggy friends. Maya is a lovely dog who has coped with a lot of change in her short life. She has been very overlooked and is waiting patiently for her forever home.
