When I first met this lovely boy in Spain he had been waiting two years before that he was in a kill shelter where two lovely ladies Alison and Becky rescued him, they adored him but one of their dogs would just not accept him in the house so he was kenneled. This lovely boy when I met him such a gentle giant, he was such a quiet boy a bit shut down I think and really was waiting for his lucky break – below is the videos I took of him in Spain.

Since coming to UK Frank has settled into family life with no problems at all, he loves a bed and most of the pictures we get sent are of him in bed, but we know have a video of him playing with the other dog which is so funny with his long legs. We have had Frank cat tested and it was very keen so no cats. Other dogs fine no problem. Children are fine but he is a very chilled dog and would not want to live with young children.

We have not let Frank off the lead and not sure we would chance it, he was probably a hunters dogs so the best home for him would be someone with a big secure garden for him to exercise or near one of those secure fields. He walks lovely on the lead. Would like him to go to a home with Sighthound experience to appreciate and understand this breed.

I think if Frank could speak he would love a chilled home like him no other dogs although he is fine with them he gets fed up with them and really just wants a quiet life. He has had problems with his skin in Spain it could be from the flies and heat but we are monitoring it and it seems to be improving and the fur growing back, we are also trying to get some weight on him and build his exercise up. We will get him checked by our vet again before he goes but we think another 10 days from writing this advert and he will be ready. So if you have a quiet life, a nice big soft bed and want a gentle companion, have a secure garden for him to run in and time to get this gentle giant the life he has always wanted.

Frank is neutered, vaccinated -blood tested and will have his own pet passport- if you think you are the right home for Frank please email us.
