Frankie is a 1 and a half year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross. Frankie’s story isn’t much different to many rescue dogs.. He was found wondering the streets at the age of 6 months old. Where he was taken to the dog pound to serve the 7 days for a owner to come forward. Only no one ever came and that’s where Frankie came to us. After a couple of months it became apparent as to why Frankie may have been dumped. He had luxating patella on one of his knee caps. Meaning the knee cap was popping out of place and it had to be surgically put back. Frankie was a very brave boy and recovered extremely well. Frankie is a hot boy and has no problems walking or running.
Frankie has been in rescue a year now with very little interest. Frankie is fantastic with children and currently lives with three. Ranging from 3 years upwards. Frankie has also proved to be great with other dogs and always takes the other foster dogs under his wing. Frankie is house and crate trained and can be left a couple of hours. He enjoys his walks, he can pull a little to start with but he does calm down. He also travels well and is eager to please. He would benefit from a family home with perhaps another dog for company.
Frankie is currently in foster in Oxford Wheatley. He is vaccinated, neutered, micro chipped and up to date with flee and worming stuff.
A Homecheck and adoption fee of £165 will apply.
