Freddie - 10 year old male Collie Cross

Freddie is a Collie cross male aged approximately 10 years old who was picked up as a stray and never claimed and came in from a Welsh dog pound after being spotted on death row.  He is a very gentle dog and is currently living with 8 other dogs. We also have cats and small animals here but he should not be homed with these and definately no pond fish! He seems to want a fish supper everytime he goes into the back garden! He does not hurt the cats but des bark at them which would be stressful for most cats.

The vets in Wales diagnosed him with a brain tumour and said that he was not viable to castrate because of his condition but when he arrived here the vet has confirmed that he does not have a brain tumour and have neutered him. He has most likely had a small stroke at some stage and it has caused a squinty eye, but apart from that he is very healthy and happy.

Freddie spent a short while in kennels before arriving at my house due to lack of space and it has been confirmed that he hates the kennel environment and does bark alot! In fact the kennel staff were glad to see the back of him. However, since arriving here and being in the home he has been very laid back and quiet and absolutely no trouble at all.

Freddie has been fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and castrated. He is a very good housedog and socialises well with the other dogs. He was quite fruity when he arrived but after his op has calmed down considerably. I have no doubt that within a short time this will pass altogether.

Freddie could live with older children (over 10 as he needs a quiet home to live his days out in). Ideally reddie would suit an older couple who he can live his days out with.  If you can offer Freddie a loving home for the rest of his days please contact me.
