Freya – 10 month old female Akita
Meet Freya, a beautiful young female who is looking through a new home through no fault of her own. Freya is quite a timid and nervous girl who would benefit from a calm home with someone who has the time and patience to build her confidence. Freya knows her basic commands and although initially cautious of strange people once she is comfortable with you she only wants to please. She is housetrained but has been spending extended periods outside recently as her circumstances has changed so she may need a gentle reminder of what to do once living again in a home.
She is currently living with two young children and although we would consider a home with children, they must be used to large dogs as she can be boisterous. She is timid with other dogs but has never shown any aggression so she could possibly live with a male companion if introductions were successful, she has not been tested with cats.
Freya is a playful girl who likes her toys, especially her ball and she likes to play tuggy and retrieval games.
