Gabe – 4 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Little Gabe came to us recently from the stray pound and soon turned into a firm favourite with all the dog walkers because of his calm biddable nature. Gabe is around 4 years of age and we suspect has been a worker; a sweeter, wiser soul you could not wish to find. He walks like a dream on the lead, keeps himself to himself where the other dogs are concerned but is very well behaved and polite around them if they do go over. He is however NOT cat friendly and a little bit of work will need to be done to tell him to LEAVE out on walks when he sees them. We expect that in time Gabe would make a good off-lead dog but again he would chase rabbits etc so some bond-building work would need doing first.

We feel Gabe would be best suited to a home with a companion female dog or on his own with someone around with the time to settle him in. Due to his gentle nature he could be rehomed with dog-savvy children 8 plus who understood to give him his space when he is sleeping.

Gabe is still in the kennels in Staffordshire but does keep his kennel clean although a little work to reinforce housetraining may be necessary over the first few days.

Gabe is vaccinated, kennel cough vaccinated, treated for parasites, microchipped and neutered.
