Garry is a 9 month old male Cross-Breed. Lovely playful sociable little Garry is a light brindle hound boy who will grow to medium size. Garry loves playing with dogs and with people. He is so affectionate and loving. Garry adores his new foster home as there is lots to see and plenty of room to run around and tire himself out with the other dogs. He also loves to play with a ball, he has a lot of fun running as fast as his little legs will go to catch up with it rolling along the ground. Garry’s favourite pastimes are definitely playing and sleeping next to the Arga, he is very friendly with everyone he meets and loves to cuddle up with his foster Mum.
Gary and his siblings were dumped at the gates of the Spanish shelter in a big box when they were very small. No sign of Mom or Dad. Garry will be a medium boy when fully grown. We think he has some greyhound in him, but he will be nothing like a greyhound in size, but he does have the lovely greyhound character. When he was in Spain he was introduced to the shelter cats and was a little afraid on them. We would home Garry to a home with other dogs, cats and children.
Foster Report: This is on day two of Garry arriving with us. He is super, sits for treats going to toilet mostly outside, very friendly with visitors but very timid outside with cars etc. Showered today and looking lovely! Loves running outside on extendable lead. This is after 1 week. Great progress being made and its not even a week he’s been here !
Garry is out walking out with both of my dogs in fields today and loving it. Garry is fast and would love being off the lead but I’ll give it a few more days until I let them loose in the enclosed paddock. He is very intelligent and has worked out very quickly where the back door is, and is doing most of his toilets outdoors now. We have walked on the road today on the lead and he stays close by. Definitely nervous if cars but will soon come round with time. He is very loving and can’t wait to see you in the morning.
