Gemma – 9 year old female Jack Russell Terrier
Gemma (ref no 156) is a 9 year old Jack Russell Terrier female who arrived at the shelter in April when she became too much for her owners and the other resident dog. Gemma likes her independence and knows her own mind. She’s probably been spoiled in the past and likes to be the important one! Gemma would enjoy a quiet home with lots of time for her.
She loves to play ball but isn’t keen on lots of handling except when she decides! She has had no real contact with children and gets agitated by too much close contact and so would be best suited in an older household as the only pet in the home. Experience of Terriers recommended.
