George had lived with his Mother and owner since a young puppy, and was always thought of as the special case. They would often say, the lights are on but nobody is at home. George my not be auditioning for Simon Cowell this year, but I can assure you that his talents of loving and loyalty are second to none. There are 15 dogs of various age, sex and breed here, that George lives with. He has been beautifully behaved with all those he has met. The 5 cats are not threatened by the presence of this mighty boy, although he is around 29″ to the shoulder. Yes, George is a large boy and weighs around 60 kg.

George walks well on the lead, he is brilliant off the lead, he is amazing with young children, although he will not be re-homed with any, as he deserves a relaxing life now. However, when George runs with our toddler, he is very careful and never rushes ahead or knocks him over. He plays like a gentleman with other dogs, he’s not a bully. Just a curious boy whom enjoys a good sniff and ponder through the fields.  This George has no issues with food or aggression. You can hand feed him, or do anything with him whilst he eats. He lives in our family home with us, 24 hours a day, so we have a good understanding of his true nature. Our children walk freely, and the other dogs are comfortable within his presence too. He could live with cats, other dogs or as an only dog. This boy is NOT a guard dog, he is truly a family member. He has no interest in aggression, or anything of that nature. George loves to be a part of the happening, he likes to be involved.

George loves people, and he certainly loves his food too! Sometimes he suffers with a bad ear, which requires ear drops but it’s nothing serious. The Vets have classed it as a narrowing ear canal. He can be left in the house, and is most likely to sit and eat treats with unwanted intruders, rather than terrify them away… really he’s just an over-grown softy, that needs and deserves to be happy again.

If he drinks too much water too quickly, he can sometimes bring the fluid back up. It’s just George being a greedy fellow.

Although he’s not an extreme case on the lead, he has started some minor training with one of the worlds BEST halters. They are hand-made right here in the U.K, and are very popular with the likes of the RSPCA, Police force, over 500 dog rescues, top UK Dog trainers, etc etc… who ever is lucky enough to adopt George, will receive one free of charge. However, if you are curious to find out more, just visit www.gentleleads.com for more information on the Gentlelead Halters.

George has been neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and is ready to find love and happiness…

We’d love to hear from you.
