George Clooney – 3 year old male Jack Russell Terrier
George Clooney is a 3 year old male Jack Russell Terrier. He is a great family pet, excellent with children and a good fun dog who will go anywhere with his family and enjoy company. He is well behaved in the house and sleeps well at night and can be left for 4 hours with no problem. He needs an experienced dog handler with a lot of patience as he lacks social skills with dogs and barks furiously at other dogs when he is on the lead. He is fostered in a pack of 10 dogs and is very happy with them – in fact he is very happy once he has been introduced to a dog – he never fights but he is rude and bad mannered resulting in him running up to strange dogs and barking in their face which some dogs mis-interpret as aggression. This behavior is due to nerves and lack of socialization as a puppy and can be managed using distraction techniques and clicker training.
