Ginger – 4 year old male Labrador Cross

Ginger is a survivor from the Illegal Meat Trade in Thailand and came to us through Soi Dog Rescue. He was rescued from a lorry that was stopped heading to the meat yard, he was so lucky to escape. He is Labrador type and size and is about 30 kg. Ginger is amazing and a firm favourite here at the rescue. The team all love him and we would love him to have him in his permanent home with a family as its the very least he deserves for being such a good dog.

Ginger is housetrained and walks perfectly on his lead. He is non destructive and is not high energy but does love his walks. Hes happy to walk along next to us and would be good off lead as he doesnt venture far. He loves all the female dogs here at the centre but can be fussy about some of the males. So he would prefer to be homed with a female dog or as an only dog. He has been around children and always been good with them, he can’t live with cats.

Ginger would make the ideal family pet as hes so easy! He has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated and has his own pet passport.

Please note, an adoption fee applies. Our ethos is a modest one; to save one life at a time. We believe that animals deserve a chance for a better life no matter where they are born in the world. That is why BARC are committed to rescuing dogs and cats from both within the UK, as well as rescuing animals from countries where they face extreme hardships and have no other alternatives, like Romania. In the future we also hope to be able to contribute towards neutering programmes in countries that need it most.
