Gracie – 2 year old female Lurcher

Gracie is a gorgeous Lurcher girl who is around 2 years old. She was found straying in Ireland during the bitterly cold winter and got her name from the Garda officer that saved her. She was in very poor condition when she was found and had a severe cut across her front left paw. This is now completely healed and Gracie is coming on in leaps and bounds. She is putting on weight and her coat is slowly improving too.

Gracie is currently in a foster home in Ireland, and is very grateful for the home comforts. She adores her people and soaks up all the attention you give her. She is a very easy girl who after a quick run around is content to sleep away in her bed, and is now fully housetrained. Gracie also gets on well with the 5 other dogs in the foster home which include a Great Dane cross and a blind Terrier. She loves going to the local forest in the car with the other dogs, but likes to be lifted in and out. Her fosterer thinks its because she sees two of the older dogs getting lifted in and wants the same treatment! She is very well behaved in the house, her only weakness being toilet paper – she thinks she is the Andrex Puppy and will run all over the house with it if given the chance!

This little gem of a dog is currently in a foster home in Ireland, but can be transported to the UK if a suitable home offer comes up. All transport costs will be very generously paid by her fosterer. Gracie is a special girl who has had a tough life so far and now really deserves her forever sofa. She is sure to be a delightful, rewarding member of the family.
