Gus – 2 year old male Beagle Cross

Please meet Gus! Gus is a 2 year old beagle cross who is looking for a very sensitive home. Gus has had a traumatic past and is fearful of people touching his collar, and will need a home willing to give him time to trust them before being too hands on. Once Gus trusts you, he is the most loving dog who wants to be with you and is desperate to please. Gus has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

Gus will need a sympathetic home who understand that Gus needs time and love to learn to trust people. He is not a dog for first time dog owners, and full behavioural support and back up will be given. Gus will need to live with another dog in his new home for same species play and companionship. He can be possessive over toys so will need to live with a dog who could cope with that. He could be introduced to a dog savvy cat.

Gus can live with teenagers plus, and with a family who understand his needs and that his experience of people during his short life so far have all been negative ones and he needs time to regain his trust in people once again, as he has done with people here, whom he loves!

If you can open your heart and your home to beautiful Gus, please fill in the pre adoption form on our website www.sedogrescue.co.uk
