Hamish is a 5 year old West Highland White Terrier. He was kept incarcerated, (kenneled), as a stud dog, and had made his escape due to hid breeder giving up. Despite not having the normal trappings of a ‘The good life’ every dog should have, this little chap has a wonderful temperament. He is a little shy at first, but truly wants to be everybody’s friend. He is good with all other dogs, male female, neutered or not. He needs a little gentle support (not sympathy) while he gets used to the outside world. He is a healthy chap, no sign of any skin problems,(the bane of many Westies), and is now castrated.
Hamish has shown no sign of any aggression towards people, dogs, cats or other animals, in any situation. He has learnt to walk on a lead, has demonstrated a good recall when off. He travels well & has even made great strides in his house training & is almost there.
Hamish is at the Sanctuary, near Kidwelly, South Wales.
