Hamish - 3 year old male Cross-Breed

Hello my name is Hamish, I’m a 3 year old, medium sized male cross-breed, who arrived at The Mayhew as a stray.  I’m very confident and friendly with everyone I meet and I’m very responsive to training. I can be vocal so would need someone who is at home all day. I’m a playful boy, I enjoy playing with my toys and I also love cuddles and giving and receiving affection.

I’m not keen on other dogs, although I am improving, but I will need to be walked on a long line and wear a muzzle on my one hour daily off lead walks in the park. My new guardians will be expected to take me to training classes and to work on my socialisation around other dogs.

They will be experienced with dogs and any children in my new household will be ten years and upwards. I’m an extremely affectionate dog and I’ve been told I will make a fantastic companion. My new guardians will be taking on a twelve year commitment which must not be taken lightly.

A very polite dog who has the manners of a gentleman, sensible and well-behaved he will make a loyal and loving companion. Hope to see you soon, Hamish x
