Hansel is about 4 months old and was the unsold puppy in his litter. He is a Pug cross Cavalier cross and is being fostered in RCT, South Wales. Hansel would have led a sheltered life up until now and but is full of puppy curiosity where he is eager to learn and get to know new people. We are looking for a family home for Hansel where there are sensible and gentle children. Hansel is happiest around other dogs and would enjoy being rehomed where there is a similar sized resident dog. As he is still a puppy training and socialisation is ongoing. Hansel is young enough to learn how to behave around cats, although he has currently not been cat tested. As with all youngsters, Hansel will need his humans to be home for most of the day so he can be housetrained and socialised and learn how much fun it can be living a normal life. He may chew things and will no doubt have toileting accidents so his new family will have to be prepared for this.
Once Hansel has had all of his vaccinations he will need ongoing training and socialisation as most of his experiences will be new ones. Car travel, lead walking, meeting other people and dogs will all need to be worked on in his new home. A committed family home with sensible children would be perfect for Hansel. He will need regular walks and ongoing training. Learning how to play, learning about housetraining and even puppy classes! He will happily live with another dog.
Hansel will be microchipped, up to date with his flea and worming treatment and vaccinated upon rehoming. Neutering will be the responsibility of the adopter and follow up checks will be done to ensure this has been carried out. Potential adopters will be expected to travel to meet him in his foster home in RCT, South Wales.
If you are interested in adopting Hansel please read about our rehoming process and complete a Pre-Adoption form ( link here ) and one of our adoption coordinators will contact you for a chat.
