Happy is a small sized Corgi type bitch, approximately five years old, this little girl is so affectionate and loving, she’s very shy and nervous at first and can be hand shy, she will instantly roll over and show her belly when u approach her but once she is bonded she loves to be cuddled and stroked and fussed. Happy is fantastic with other dogs, has shown no aggression or issue whatsoever and is very submissive. She shows an interest in cats but only in so much ad to say hello and backs off if challenged. She has learned sit and paw in record time and is a very intelligent and eager to please little girl.
Happy loves children and will go to them over adults for attention. Happy is very nervous outside. She reacts to loud noises in fear and tries to duck behind bins and walls. She can walk well on lead but will need a lot of reassurance and patience. She cannot be off lead as she will try to bolt if there’s a perceived threat such as a car door being slammed or someone approaching her too quickly. Happy is clean indoors and although I haven’t crated her she does take herself into my other dogs crate and likes a small space to feel safe. She spent her first night hiding in the wardrobe!
She has gained a lot of confidence in a small space of time with lots of reassurance and encouragement and will need this to carry on in her new home. Although she likes the company of other dogs she’s not one to play or interact of her own accord so would be fine as an only dog. She is an all round amazing little love and anyone would be lucky to have her, She is fostered in Coulsden way.
