Sally is a female Patterdale Terrier aged between 4-5 years old who came in with her sibling Harry, who has since been rehomed. They were rescued by an RSPCA inspector after being found abandoned in a muddy field, with only a wooden box full of splinters for shelter. No one claimed them so they are now available for adoption together. Sally is quite a lively girl full of energy!

Sally is a very loving dog, she is very affectionate and friendly. She can be a little bit wilful so needs a lot of exercise and a condition of her adoption is that she must attend training classes. She is a very intelligent dog who will learn quickly, she is driven by the desire for food. She walks well on lead. She is also very rabbit orientated.
She is good in the car and travels well, she can be left alone for a short while and is good around children and other animals (apart from rabbits) but does need more socialising with other dogs as she can get very excited when they see them, but not aggressive in any way. From time to time she barks a little but generally not a noisy dog.
Any potential owner must have the time and patience to take Sally on, ideally we are looking for someone who has experience with the breed.
