Henry is a one year old broken coated Lurcher. He came to us after he’d been found in a barn, he was underweight and generally in a poor state. He is currently in foster with male and female hounds and is well behaved with them, he has good manners around food, beds and toys. He is a typical youngster who wants to play most of the time, he loves nothing more than running with the other hounds and he would make a great companion for another younger hound who would also like to run and play.
Henry is sociable with all breeds of dogs and walks out well, he does, as any young Lurcher does, a lot of play in him and would suit a home where he can play and go on longer walks. Having said that he does know to go and lie down on his bed and will play with his toys and chews when the other Hounds are sleeping. He would certainly be happier with another dog or dogs for company and someone who is around most of the time to continue his training, he would prefer not to live with cats.
Henry has a lot of potential, he is intelligent and he would love to help with everything going on, visit places and be loved. He does have huge potential to be a super little dog for somebody.
Henry is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and flead and wormed. He can be homed both locally and nationally dependent on a successful homecheck.
