Hodor is a large 4 year old Alaskan Malamute who is in desperate need of a new fitness regime! He enjoys his exercise but he really does enjoy a slower pace, and is happy to plod along on his lead. He can be quite aloof but has a real cheeky streak at times – he can be quite the attention seeker! He’s looking for a home that has experience of the breed, and will help him get back to full fitness.
He loves to play in his paddling pool, when the mood strikes. Hodor needs a home with only adults. His coat has been left without being groomed and his carers have had to go back to square one with him, and get him used to being brushed and handled.
He has a lovely bond with them, but any potential adopters will need to visit him multiple times at the centre, in order to build their own bond. Hodor enjoys the company of other dogs, but only as walking buddies, so he will need to be the only pet in the home.
