We would like to introduce Holly, she is an adorable older girl being 9 years old, semi haired black and tan. She has not been socialised around a lot of dogs, but we have socialised her with our kennel dogs and she is fine, she would suit either being the only dog or a submissive quieter dog with her being 9 years old. We would suggest a cat free home as she is likely to chase them. Although Holly is not used to young children she is a very friendly girl so we would suggest 8years onwards which are large dog savvy and respectable towards dogs.
Holly meets you in a nice friendly loving way and will thrive in a new home, please do not let her age put you off, this girl has the energy of a younger dog and will give you a few years or many new memories and fun too.
Holly does need alittle lead work which walking her on a head/non pulling collar is working a treat with her right now although she does protest at times she then does walk well on it. We would suggest she is not walked miles and miles but to break her walks up into 2-3 short walks a day due to her age.
Overall Holly will make an excellent companion, with a quieter laid back home for her, she will settle in quickly as she is doing very well in kennels. She is currently being fed Royal Canin which has been created especially for Rescue dogs, Holly is thriving on this food. Holly is fully inoculated, wormed and flea’d she is also microchipped. She will need to be neutered when adopted, although at the age Holly is we would discuss this with you further at the time of adoption.
