Holly – 10 year old female German Shepherd Dog

Holly is a very sweet, very beautiful, mature, 10 year old German Shepherd Dog who, tragically, is virtually blind and is no doubt another victim of the Christmas clear-out. She was brought into the kennels as a stray, but how on earth could someone have thrown her out knowing she could not find her way, and on top of that she is around 10 years old. It’s beyond wicked.

Despite her lack of sight Holly seems to be a happy girl who is pleased to meet everyone and everything! She loves to be fussed and have human contact. She is absolutely fine with other dogs and would probably benefit from living with another dog to help show her the way. She has been to the vets and, without going into too much detail as I don’t have the paperwork with the diagnosis, there is nothing to be done for her eyesight. More information will be available from the Centre.

Holly is vaccinated and microchipped. She is in kennels in Norfolk but can be rehomed outside of the county, within reason and dependent upon a successful homecheck. (We would not really want Holly to be travelling 100′s of miles of course.)

If you think you could offer Holly a loving, quiet and stable home, where she will perhaps have doggy company, a lovely soft bed and lots of tender loving care, please do get in touch.

We’d really like to get Holly into a lovely home right now. Kennels are no place for any dog, but especially not for an older, blind lady like dear sweet Holly. Can you help Holly please?
