This handsome boy is called Hooch and he arrived here at Abbey Street from another shelter for the chance to find his forever home! Hooch has a fantastic character, he is loving and affectionate but still loves to play with his toys, his favourite is his bone which he likes to carry round his kennel so as to show off to any passers-by! Hooch likes nothing more than being around people, he often forgets his size and thinks he can sit on your lap, but he has a heart of gold and despite being 10, is in great health.
Hooch knows his commands and is very obedient, he also walks beautifully to heel and is very responsive to you even with all the exciting sights and smells of the outside world, he even sits and waits patiently at the roadside until you say he can cross! Sadly Hooch didn’t have the greatest of starts in life and was attacked by another dog because of this he is frightened and finds their company stressful and so cannot live with other animals. Hooch would be fine to live with older children who are experienced around dogs however an adult home would be ideal as he likes to be the centre of attention. We cannot understand why this beautiful boy hasn’t been snapped up already as he is just so lovely!
Please, if you think you could offer Hooch the chance he so deserve, contact us today as you won be disappointed
