Hope is a medium sized German Shepherd cross of around 7 years old. Hope is fostered in Thetford (FR146). Hope has had a really hard time medically and it’s fair to say she has had more than her fair share of bad luck. She was found with a severely damaged leg that couldn’t be saved. Since the amputation she has adapted brilliantly to life on three legs. In addition to this she had mammary tumours that also had to be removed. We hope that all cancerous material was removed but will cover any costs in the event of recurrence.
When she arrived in the UK Hope took the whole experience in her stride. She was completely unphased by domestic life and the other dogs in the household.
Hope is housetrained and will let you know when she needs to go out. She loves her walks and the sofa in equal measures. Hope enjoys a quietish life and would be okay with children of ten years and over. She is a loving and affectionate dog that really deserves a lot of love in her twilight years.
