Meet Hugo and Rindi! They are 3 year old boys who have just moved to a paid pet hotel in Cyprus with a lady who is showering them with love whilst we urgently try to find them their forever home together in the UK. The pet hotel has been funded by generous supporters for a month. Unfortunately we cannot afford to keep them there beyond this and so really need to find their new home quickly or they will end up in the pound.
Hugo and Rindi were originally rescued and given what they thought was their forever home by a very lovely, kind lady. She rescued them both, one as an abandoned pup left in a box and the other was being severely abused so this lady went and took him to safety. They have lived with the lady happily and learnt to feel safe and loved. Sadly this lovely lady, their rock, has become seriously ill. She went into hospital so her daughter was feeding them once a day for the last month until her mum went home. However, their mum has now gone into a hospice and will sadly not be going home.
These boys are faced with the pound in a month’s time which will break them. We hope to find a home quickly so that their mum can have peace of mind too!
They are 3 years old, loving, smart Kokoni cross Terriers, who really appreciate their home comforts and have always lived together.
We need to find them a home together in the UK so they can fly to safety and so they will not need to experience the conditions of the pound. They are gorgeous boys. They are 3 years old and just amazing, sweet, cuddly boys who want to please. Hugo is the darker and slightly larger boy and Rindi is lighter in colour and a bit smaller. They are both Kokoni cross Terriers. The Kokoni is a Greek dog and “Kokoni” means “small dog” in Greek.
Kokoni love human interaction and are fearless despite their small size. The breed is alert, lively, cheerful, smart and loyal. They are great companion dogs. Kokoni love to run and play. Both boys really fit this breed description.
We hope to find a family who will open their heart and home to them and allow them to continue to live in the comfort to which they are accustomed. They will make terrific family pets and get on well with humans of all ages.
Prior to their flight to the UK they will receive the vet preparation required, vaccinations, be microchipped and have entry passports prepared. The adoption donation required to help cover the flight and related costs to get them to you in the UK will be around £750 for both depending on where you are in the country and the exchange rates.
Please contact us if you are interested in both these gorgeous boys and DOG Cyprus will be very happy to chat to you about our adoption process. It is much easier than you might think! As a Kokoni cross owner myself I cannot recommend the breed more highly. They have big personalities and make simply amazing family pets.
