Ike – 18 month old male Japanese Akita

Ike is a handsome 18 month old Japanese Akita boy who was picked up as a stray in the Sheffield area and assessed in the pound by our representative, who was met with wags and licks! Ike enjoyed a fuss and even consented to a bit of a hair brush!

This boy has knowledge of basic commands, and didn’t pull on the lead. He seemed happy walking past other dogs, however we would not class this as a full test with other dogs. As a stray, we don’t have any background information about Ike – as such he will not be placed with young children.  Friends of Akitas has managed to get Ike into safe kennels, where he will now be further assessed.
