Ivy is a 5 year old female Beagle. Ivy is no longer required for breeding so is looking for a new home. She is a sweet girl who would like new owners who are around for most of the day. She must be re homed with at least one other canine companion who will be able to show her what life as a much loved pet is all about.
She is not as nervous as many but is still not quite a ready made pet. House training is much Improved although accidents initially should be expected due to a change of environment. Often a dog can be clean whilst in foster and then have a few accidents in the new home. This does settle down once the dogs feel more secure.
Ivy is walking on the lead but it is still a work in progress. She loves being out and about and is great meeting other dogs. Like many beagles Ivy is very food motivated, this will be an excellent training aid but care must be taken with her as she is currently a little rotund. Her foster is watching her weight and advice will be given to new owners about maintaining her weight loss. She is sleeping well at night and is clean and dry. Ivy travels well in the car. She is a very sweet girl who is eager to please. Happy to have a bath which is just as well as she does enjoy a good romp in the mud.
Ivy will be neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and will have had a full dental. She is currently on foster in Hastings East Sussex.
