Ivy is a fifteen month old female English Bulldog. She arrived at Mayhew after being found abandoned on the streets. Playful Ivy is a goofy girl who is full of energy! She can be boisterous and stubborn at times but she’s responding well to training.
She loves life, meeting new people and also enjoys playing with other dogs in the park. She’s looking for an experienced and patient owner who has plenty of time on their hands to continue her training. She’s not yet fully toilet trained and doesn’t cope well with being left alone and she needs to learn to control her enthusiasm!
She can live with other dogs providing they can cope with her lively nature, not suitable to live with cats and she can live with children from sixteen years of age and upwards. Ivy has had surgery to correct her cherry eye and entropion, she has ectropion which means she has to have eye drops daily. Ivy’s new owners will need to be fully prepared for the hard work and long term commitment involved in owning a dog, they’ll be taking on a fourteen year commitment which must not be taken lightly.
Ivy is hoping you’ll consider her!
