Jack – 9-10 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Meet the wonderful Jack a 9 or 10 year old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier. When we have space we work with other organisations to help save dogs from being put to sleep in the pounds. Jack was one of them. Jack is micro-chipped, wormed, flead and started the vaccinations. He will be neutered in due course.

Jack is simply gorgeous; a typical smiley Staffordshire Bull Terrier, he is really friendly and cuddly, his tail doesn’t stop wagging, he loves to give kisses, he adores belly rubs and most of all loves to sit on your lap which any Staffordshire Bull Terrier lover knows is a given!
Jack was very ill and depressed upon arrival so had spent some time in the vets on a drip, upon doing tests and an x-ray we established that he has Megaesophagus so he needs to be fed from a height with a good quality food. The condition is where the Oesophagus has thickened which means food is harder to flow if eaten from ground level.
Unfortunately before he came to the rescue it was left undetected for some time, along with an ulcerated stomach caused by stress. Jack is over the worst now and wow does his personality shine through!

The vet staff didn’t want to let him go! The ideal home would be one with no other pets, (although he is really good with other dogs) and no toddlers (he is quite lively for his age) where someone is around a lot. Jack deserves a caring, warm, cosy home to enjoy life as all dogs should! We hope with a beautiful face like that he won’t be with us long! Please don’t let his age put you off, he’s full of life and has a few years ahead of him yet!
Please can you find it in your heart to give Jack a much deserved loving home?
