Adorable, inseparable Jack (12 year old Shih Tzu boy) and Pepe (13 year old Toy Poodle boy) are now in an Oldies Club foster home in Christchurch, Dorset while they wait for they’re lucky new owner to find them. At their foster home, Jack and Pepe are never left alone as there’s enough people to mean someone is always with them. A similar arrangement in their new home would be nice, or at least to be your constant companions as much as possible.
They are both happy to meet other dogs when out on walks. It’s unknown if they’d be as happy to share their home with one but really, any more dogs than these two might be cuteness overload! It’s unknown how Jack and Pepe would react to cats. They have both been at ease when meeting gentle children on walks. They might be fine to live with older, respectful children. Visiting grandchildren would probably be welcome. More fuss and walkies!
Jack adores fuss, particularly a good back scratch. Pepe likes to follow you around the garden, just pottering and being companionable. They both really love to snuggle up to you on the sofa of an evening, after another full day of making people say, “Aw, so cute!” wherever they go. Jack isn’t really scared of anything but can find sudden noises startling. Pepe has a more anxious disposition. New situations are a worry to him, which is frankly… exhausting!
Naturally these two must stay together. They need to have someone at home with them most of the time who will take them out for jolly walkies every day. A garden is essential, as are copious cuddles!
They are both neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and flea/worm treated. Jack has a slight heart murmur but it’s nothing to worry about as he’s not inclined to charge about anyway. He has cataracts, so his view of the world is very foggy. He will be having a dental before adoption. Pepe’s hearing is his only issue. He has recently had a dental and seems to be in fine fettle for his age.
