Jacob is a two year old Lhasa Apso cross fostered in Lymington, Hampshire. He has suffered a great deal in his short life. He was badly beaten in Romania by his ‘owners’ and they left him in a public shelter to die. A charity saw this scared, fearful dog hiding and wanted to help him. He has spent time in rehabilitation and his personality and trust is shining through.
He absolutely adores his walks. He loves a good bum wiggle and a stroke. He wants to be close to his foster mum but interaction is often on his terms. He has negative associations with being groomed so he has to slowly slowly build positive associations with being groomed.
He gets on brilliantly with other dogs and his body language is very polite. He needs a very special understanding home with someone who has experience with fearful dogs.
