Jake – 11 month old male Collie cross Jack Russell Terrier
Jake is an 11 month old male Collie cross Jack Russell Terrier who has sadly been returned to Dogs Friends. He was initially owned by a teenager who got bored of him so he was brought to us by his father.
He’s friendly to adults and other dogs and very well behaved in the home. However he apparently does not like teenage boys and if he sees them out on walks will go to nip their ankles so Jake cannot be re homed with children and care needs to be taken when out.
He also needs to go to people willing to work with him to get him out of this bad habit. As with all our dogs we are happy to offer advice to help adopters over come any problems, but like many issues any dog might have whether rescued or not it takes time and consistency.
