Jake – 12 year old male Rough Collie
Jake is a Rough Collie and is 12 years old (although no-one has told Jake this) he really is very youthful for his years. He’s dog and people friendly and currently on foster with other dogs. He really is no trouble, mainly sits out the way and comes over ocassionally for a fuss and too give you his paw. He really loves his walks as well as relaxing and being groomed… he walks well on the lead and is very well behaved. His coat needs regular grooming to keep it in the beautiful condition it is now. He cannot be rehomed with cats.
*Update from his foster family*
I have concluded that Jake would be better off in a home as the only dog. He is so good when he is on a walk with me only, and is very good with other dogs he meets. He is very good with people and is admired by many when we are out and about.
If you are looking for a real canine pal who will be loyal and a pleasure to be in or out with then Jake is the dog for you. I wonder if someone has made a mistake about his age as seems so well and always ready for a walk as often as you like.
Jake is based in Exeter.
All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family.
