Jasmine – 2 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Meet our Jasmine, she is a 2 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier. We had a phone call from a local vets Jasmine had been taken in to be put down and the vet was refusing because she is so lovely. We have agreed to take her on. The reason being her owner was in prison and somebody was looking after his dogs there was a fight and the man tried to split them up and got badly attacked and bitten by the other dog which has been put down, Jasmine herself has been badly hurt and had quite a few stitches too.

We have had her in a couple of weeks now and she is typical staffy, extremely friendly with every ones – lots of snogs!! Great with the kids at the kennels…. She is obviously wary of other dogs after what has happened to her and even though she can be walked with other dogs she is quite jumpy around them and protective of herself, if you were to walk her up the road and she saw another dog she will wag her tail and will not go for them but she is very wary now and may always be like this, so because of this she will have to be homed as an only dog.

Dog training could help her get over this, she is very food focused and going to be easy to train…. Hopefully somebody out there will give this lass a chance as she really does deserve a second chance – she is house trained and going to be a lovely girly for somebody..
