Jasper – 15 year old male Jack Russell Terrier

Jasper is a gorgeous 15 year old Jack Russell Terrier boy who is in a foster home in Swindon, Wiltshire, waiting for someone to offer him a permanent home. Jasper is a sweet little chap who just asks for a quiet home where he can be your cuddling companion. It must have been a big upheaval for this poor little lad to lose his home after so long with his previous owner and now he would like a lovely new owner who won’t leave him much and who will take him for nice strolls. It took Jasper a few weeks to settle at his foster home, but he happily wanders around the house and garden.

Jasper is not happy when you leave him. His foster carer has only left him for up to 2 hours as he barks and gets stressed. Jasper loves to have human company. Jasper is fine with his foster carer’s two Jack Russell Terriers, but they don’t bother him at all. Jasper could live with calm dogs that are not going to be in his face. Jasper would be fine as only dog too.

Jasper lived with cats previously and his owner said he used to sleep in same bed as the cats. He also liked the ones he recently met at the vets. Jasper has been fine with his foster carer’s visiting grandchildren. He doesn’t really take any notice of them. He is an older boy though so obviously wouldn’t want to be pulled around by children. Jasper really loves his walks and is always keen to go. Jasper’s perfect home would have someone there all the time. A quiet home would be best, but as long as it isn’t really hectic he would be okay.

Jasper is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. He has a slight heart murmur that doesn’t need medication at the moment. He has recently had a dental and can now eat hard chews again – he really enjoyed the first one after his dental!
