Jerry is a nearly 10 year old English Springer Spaniel. Well he couldn’t be anything other with that name could he. He is a good boy in a house with no other dogs, he enjoys cuddle times but don’t ask him for kisses he doesn’t like it. He loves food and he usually has his tea at 5pm. Jerry doesn’t have a bed as he doesn’t like them so he sleeps on the sofa. He will bark at he postman if the door knocks and at visitors, but calms down once he meets them. He will sit , give paw, lie down and stay but he will not return a toy if you throw it for him.
He loves his treats but do not give him a proper bone he becomes possessive and may growl. He loves to lie in front of the fire and is house trained and he is fine to be left alone for an hour or two. And if the back door is closed and he needs a wee he will bark at the door to let you know. He is fine with older children, 10 upwards but not with cats or dogs in the home. If his water bowl is empty or not up to his standards he will bark at it until you give him fresh water! He likes walks but he stays on his lead as he never comes back so his recall will need work.
Jerry is in foster in Liverpool and he is neutered, chipped, vaccinated, wormed and flead. Adoption subject to meet and greet, homecheck and adoption donation of £150. Applications via forms section of website please.
