Jess – 5-6 year old female Retriever cross Collie

Jess is a 5/6 year old Retriever cross Colie. She has been in a home since she was young. She is only now looking for a new home due to a bereavement in her family. She has been a much loved pet. She is obviously house trained and used to all the things you would expect from a pet dog. She loves to play ball. She is good off lead although she will chase squirrels (as do most given the chance!). She is extremely affectionate and loves being the centre of attention. She is good with other dogs but as she has always lived as an only dog she would likely be happy with the same arrangement, especially as she likes all the toys to herself.

She has had basic training and is so good at sitting and waiting for her dinner that she won’t eat it until you tell her she can. She likes and needs plenty of exercise during the day but come the evening she turns into a couch potato. She does not like cats and so we won’t home her with one. Jess should easily into a new home as all the training has been done by her previous owner. She’s a lovely, ready made, active companion for someone. vaccinated, wormed, micro chipped, spayed and vet checked.
