Jet – 5 year old male Greyhound

Jet is a handsome 5 year old Greyhound boy, so sweet and so well behaved. Jet is currently kenneled with Amy and this is the second girl he has been paired with before that it was Sue. He is so gentle with his kennel mates even though they have bossed him around, he ends up with the girls smaller bed, they steal his bedding, generally tell him how life will be and he does not bat an eye! Someone is going to get an absolute gem of a hound with this boy. He is a very leggy, slender lad and absolutely stunning to look at. Jet walks like a dream on lead, travels well, has been fine with all the hounds we have here and we feel he would be happy as an only dog (probably grateful lol after the girls) or that he could happily live with other hounds or medium sized dogs. Jet can be rehomed with dog savy children 6 years and up but not cats.

Greyhound Gap
Greyhound Gap is a small independent charity set up to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome greyhounds and lurchers who find themselves in a ‘put to sleep’ situation in UK pounds. Funded almost entirely by donations, we rehome around 150 dogs each year. We can have around 40-50 dogs at any one time in our kennels based in Kidsgrove, Stoke on Trent and a further 30-40 in foster homes. Greyhound Gap operates on a national basis so our dogs can be homed throughout the UK subject to a suitable home visit being carried out. If you are interested in adopting a dog from Greyhound Gap, we would ask that in the first instance you could take a few moments to complete our pre-adoption questionnaire if you have not already done so: http://www.greyhoundgap.org.uk/our-dogs/pre-adoption-questionnaire
